The product

Port Monitor is a macOS menu bar app that lists the processes listening on TCP ports on your Mac and lets you stop them. It requires macOS 26 (Tahoe) or later and runs on Apple silicon and Intel Macs. Updates are delivered through the app's built-in updater.

Free trial

You may use the full app free of charge for 7 days per Mac. After the trial the app keeps showing your ports, but stopping processes requires a license key.

License

A license costs 4,99 € (or the localised equivalent shown at checkout, tax included where it applies) and is paid once. It grants you, the purchaser, a personal, non-transferable right to install and use Port Monitor on any Macs you own or control, for as long as you like. It includes all future updates of the app for as long as it is published. You may not share, resell or publish your license key.

Payment and delivery

Payment is handled by Stripe with the payment methods shown at checkout. Your license key is shown on screen after payment and emailed to the address you entered at checkout, normally within a minute. That email is your order confirmation; please keep it. If the key does not arrive, email us and we will resend it.

Refunds

You can cancel the purchase within 14 days without giving a reason, wherever you live, even though the app is delivered immediately and you may already have used it. Email hello@port-monitor.app from the address you used at checkout. We refund the full price to the original payment method within 14 days and deactivate the license key.

Chargebacks

If a payment is disputed with your bank, the associated license key is deactivated automatically. Contact us first and we will resolve any billing problem directly.

Warranty and liability

If the app does not work as described, we fix it or refund you. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer protection law of your country.

Port Monitor stops the processes that you choose to stop. It is your responsibility to check what you are stopping. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for data loss or other damage resulting from stopping a process or from other use of the app.

Disputes and governing law

If you have a problem, contact us first; we resolve nearly everything directly. These terms are governed by Finnish law. Consumers in the EU may take an unresolved dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board in Finland.

Changes

We may update these terms for future purchases. The terms in force at the time of your purchase apply to that purchase, and we update the date at the top of this page when they change.
